We have started literacy centres. Here are the instructions for the technology activities that students should be working on at home as well.

NoRedInk grammar assignments will be posted on the google classroom weekly and will be due the following Monday. Students can complete it during their time at the technology centre, or at home.

Login information is glued into students' agendas.

Centre 1: Reading and Writing with Technology

1. Complete reading comprehension practice for your level at: www.readtheory.org To login go to www.readtheory.org/auth/login and enter your username & password (Grade6Students).

2. Practice & improve your grammar, punctuation and other writing techniques for your level at www.noredink.com enter your username and password (1234567).

3. Practice spelling and add new words to your personal spelling list at www.learner.org/interactives/spelling/spelling.html You can choose to work at a grade level that you feel is challenging enough for you but not too difficult. You don’t HAVE to do grade 6. You can print the words you’ve practiced and add them to your spelling list.
