Geometry Math Quiz Monday May 1st

1) Names of all polygons learned (triangles, quadrilaterals, etc) - As specific as possible!

2) Specific names of triangles (e.g. by angles and by sides - acute scalene, equiangular equilateral,
etc.)

3) Properties of each polygon (what makes a square a square? why is a parallelogram not always a square but a square is always a parallelogram? etc.) Identify the polygon being described

4) Identifying properties:
- lines of symmetry
- rotational symmetry
- parallel sides

5) Vocabulary from math scavenger hunt

6) Naming/classifying angles (acute, obtuse, right, straight)

7) Drawing/constructing angles with specific measurements

8) Drawing/constructing polygons with specific angles and side lengths

9) Know that all angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

10) Sorting/classifying by properties and identifying the sorting rule for quadrilaterals
